The Corps Network fights for the idea that Corps provide a solution to multiple problems in American society.

We believe there is a great need for youth from all backgrounds to get job training opportunities and paid work experience, given the lack of a strong economy and massive youth unemployment. Corps provide this training, as well as academic programming, and at the same time complete National Service projects that benefit communities nationwide. It's a win-win model for Corpsmembers and their communities. Corps also provide cost-effective improvements and maintenance to our nation's beloved public lands, which include national parks, forests, wildlife refuges, and urban parks.

Given these tremendous benefits, a large part of The Corps Network's work is to win and protect federal funding that helps support Corps programs. Using the menu on the upper left, you can learn more about some of the focus areas of our advocacy work.
